Event: Mary-Kate at the Metropolitan Opera's 125th Anniversary Gala

This is a very hit and look miss for me - I love it, but then I hate it, but then something catches my eye and then something turns me off. Mary-kate is wearing a Yves Saint Laurent dress paired with a silver YSL clutch.
I love her uniqueness but then I feel as if this would have been a lot better with just red lipstick and a simple updo. What do you think?

Ashley was at the Fashion Group International 2008 Night of Stars Awards gala with Francisco Costa, designer to Calvin Klein - a label that Ashley covets.
It's not one of her best looks, and although the blue is an amazing colour the boxy bag puts me off of the outfit. What's your take?

Calvin Klein 40th Anniversary

On September 7th Ashley attended the 40th Anniversary of Calvin Klein in a sleek grey and black ensemble. What a perfect event for Ashley - the line defines her style right now! She looked great and very mature. She's starting to really remind me of a more modern Lauren Hutton!

A quick post of the outfit - more comments later. I can say I love it though!

this outfit is ashley olsen at her best - classic, clean and minimal. She pulls the jodphurs off very well. It's easy to wear such overstated pieces such as these if the tailoring is perfect, which it is here. I love the sheen of the fabric and how it flows in the right places. However, don't you think this is quite similar to her dress from last year's CFDA's? It's as if it were the boyish version of it! Either way... A+ rating from me.
