The whole oufit is great but I'm not sure about those shoes... in fact I think they're hideous but hey, Ashley was a child of the 80's!

The shoes having NOTHING to do with the 80's. LOL. People wear nike sneakers everyday.
They are sneakers. They are sporty and comfortable. She wasn't trying to make a fashion statement.

I love her Chanel hairclip. And as for nicer sneakers...who cares. She was on a plane and wanted to be comfortable. She doesnt have to keep appearances for anyone. Good for her.
