Who Wore it Better? Anna or Mary-Kate

Both Anna Dello Russo, fashion director of Vogue Nippon, and Mary-Kate rocked this amazing Balmain dress. But ... who wore it better?

    as much as i love anna dello russo, mary-kate looks so much softer than anna does. so, i'd have to go with mary-kate.

    I think Mary-Kate only because it sort of looks like the dress is wearing Anna, rather than the other way around.

    Anna all the way. The sheer black tights and the black booties complement the dress better than the nude colored Proenza heels. Also, we must take into consideration that Anna's body is more like an actual models than Mary-Kates. Therefore, the dress looks like it SUPPOSED to look an Anna.

    It fits on Anna better (length-wise), but I prefer Mary-Kate's styling - the hair, makeup & shoes.

    I think that maybe the way anna wore it was a bit of an obvious choice, while mary kate freshened up the look.

    I think on this particular photo the sharp shoulders look a bit overpowering on Anna. But the dress looks cool on both of them and it's fun to see how different their look is even in the same dress :)

    Definately Mary-Kate
    she manages to wear a designer piece without getting overwhelmed by the garment, you look at her as much as you look at that stunning dress!
    Her figure looks better too

    Although I like both of them, the way mary-kate wore it is a bit more wearable so more appealing. It just looks too harsh on anna along with her harshly straight hair, maybe if she had a looser style of hair that day to soften the look up a bit. She does look stunning if you look at her body but if you excuse me for perhaps being rude i think she is slightly too old to be wearing a young dress like this, whereas it looks totally great on mary kate.
    I do love the way she pinned the brooch to it though, think it looks better with the brooch than without.

    Anna looks tougher, but in Mary Kate the dress is definitely chic! and MK styling (the hair, the shoes) are perfect to this dress.

    Even though Anna looks like the fashion Terminator, she rocks it better than MK. Her hair doesn't detract from the tennis-ball shoulders and sheer tights work so well with the dress. Jealous!

    i dont like it on either. i do like the dress though. anna looks kinda harsh and scary. and marykate may be too petite...it makes her look like she has no neck. maybe that has to do with her posture. i guess if i had to choose, marykate looks better in it.

    The fit is better on Anna, especially the length of the sleeves. MK's slouch detracts from the shoulders, unfortunately. But overall I think they both wore it well.
