    Did she use velour? I don't hate the dress but she looks really uncomfortable in these pictures...

    I think she looks cute, but I agree about the fabric. I hate velour/velvet anything!

    I saw these pictures of her and my initial reaction was "awkward". I'm not sure if it's the dress or the venue but either way, I was fairly surprised she wore something so un-conservative as backless (or so it looks) and overall I'm not a fan of this look. God it feels weird to say that as I love everything she puts on. Ever.

    velvet seems cheesy sometimes. Here she looks, like Marianne said, uncomfortable.

    The silhouette is nice, but the material is a bit outdated. Maybe in a different color? I don't know how well the moss green suits her...
