In the Closet: Chanel SS08 Star Print Blouse

At the Fendi store opening in LA Marykate and Ashley showed up to congratulate Karl Lagerfeld. And they both represented the line at their best - Ashley wore a Chanel SS08 Star Print Blouse straight off of the runway.

However, it's not one of my favourite looks - the colors and print is a bit too eightie's secretary for me.

In the Closet: Elizabeth and James Parachute Mini Dress

When the Beverly Hills Neiman Marcus hosted an intimate soiree to debut Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's new contemporary line, Elizabeth and James, preferred customers were the first to get their hands on gorgeous frocks, jackets and tops from the much-anticipated collection. The budding designers were hands-on in planning the celebration, pitching in to do everything from styling the party space to dressing the mannequins. "When I first walked in, I was in shock that there were so many people here already," said Mary-Kate of the impressive turnout. "I sort of ran around and said, 'Time to shop!'"

During the event, Ashley wore a gorgeous Elizabeth and James Parachute Mini Dress which she accentuated with a gorgeous silk blue scarf and black patent clutch.

In the Closet: The Row Three-quarter Sleeve Cashmere Tuxedo Jacket

To the premiere of Sex and the City: The Movie, Ashley did her best Lauren Hutton impression in a clean and minimalistic pairing of her Row tuxedo jacket, and trousers. The clutch is Calvin Klein, the blouse is vintage Balenciaga and the belt is Givenchy.

Olsens + Robert Lee Morris = Elizabeth & James Jewelry

One of my favourite Marykate and Ashley projects has to be Elizabeth and James. It's more affordable than The Row (though not by much) and creative, simple and beautifully designed. Now it seems that the twins want to foray into the jewellery making business....

Robert Lee Morris, winner of two CFDA awards and longtime Donna Karan collaborator, is working on a jewelry line for Elizabeth & James.
According to WWD, MK + A are longtime fans of Morris' jewelry, which ranges from blurred dollar sign earrings to rings with crosses.
His work has appeared in ELLE, Harper's Bazaar and Vogue, and will be part of the Elizabeth & James label sometime this summer.
The line will consist of "silver and brass dagger necklaces, amorphous knuckle rings and edgy earrings" - expect to see Mary-Kate decked out in every piece during Fashion Week.

In the Closet: Balenciaga Tiedye Gladiator Sandals

The shoes ashley wore to the david yurman and harpers bazaar event are yet to be spotted by me in any shops, but ashley's bff with nicolas so she probably got early pickings.
She was spotted in the Balenciaga tie-dy Gladiator sandals, in turquoise. The picture below is another variation of the heel, in a flat sandal.

Ashley looked amazing at the sex and the city premiere at NY. she wore a white blazer from her clothing line the row along with a white blouse and black pants. I love how she used the leather clutch to accessorize - maybe she should expand into accessories for her line?

Remember that gorgeous sheer outfit Ashley showed up in at the 2006 Teen Choice Awards? Well, most people couldn't take their eyes of the dress but for accessory devotees they couldn't take their eyes off of the clutch.
Ashley sported a midnight blue B. Romanek Crocodile Rockstar Clutch clutch, which was considerably in fashion those days - check out all the other celebrities seen sporting it

ashley was spotted leaving her house in a questionable outfit. now, i know celebrities are real people and blah blah blah but no one should leave the house in this... a blue bathrobe and harem style sweats? it's not a good idea to take inspiration from aladdin.

Remember Ashley attending the Calvin Klein shows a few days ago? Well, word is that she wasn't just scoping out any old dress but the dress for the CFDA Awards. Remember her Elizabeth and James outfit last year - hard to beat!

Calvin Klein (and Costa) fan Ashley Olsen attended the
Monday morning show and scoped out a one-shoulder gown with tiny pleats
and snakeskin print pattern to possibly wear to the upcoming CFDA
awards on June 2, for which Costa is nominated in the "Designer of the Year"
category. Like other resort collections this season - Christian Dior and
Oscar de la Renta - the one-shoulder dress is shaping up to be a key trend
for Resort eveningwear.
